SHE IS NOW CANCER FREE AND CONTINUES TO BE AN INSPIRATION TO THOSE AROUND HER. YOLANDA STARTED THE RACE IN A WHEELCHAIR BUT WAS DETERMINED TO FINISH ON HER OWN TWO FEET. THEY RUN AND I CAN’T RUN. I CAN WALK IT AND I PRACTICED FOR SIX WEEKS. Reporter: THE ANNUAL 5K IS ALL INCLUSIVE. EVERYONE IS INVITED. YES, EVERYONE. I LOST MY HEALTH INSURANCE AND THEY HELPED GET THAT SO THAT I COULD HAVE THE SURGERY I NEEDED. I RECENTLY HAD A DOUBLE MASTECTOMY. I HAD SURGERY JANUARY 18, SO I’M JUST NOW THREE MONTHS CANCER FREE.
