Hi, I’m Susan Pye and I’m a new board
member for South Suburban. I am passionate about serving seniors in our
community and currently serve as an ambassador for active senior programs
and services. I’m at the South Suburban Golf Course enjoying the view.
We have four gorgeous golf courses that you should enjoy. South Suburban is home to four of the
most diverse courses in the Denver area. Our courses are designed so that you can
play the game and enjoy it your way. Challenge your friends to a competitive
round, watch your child swing a club for the first time, or practice your own
skills. Our well-maintained courses are open year-round and have great rates.
Family Sports Golf Course. This nine-hole executive course with a two-tiered
heated and lighted driving range is perfect for a quick round after work.
Littleton Golf and Tennis Club. While officially an 18-hole executive course,
don’t let that fool you. Littleton Golf Course is tight and challenging with
five par fours and two par fives. Lone Tree Golf Club and Hotel. The Arnold Palmer
designed par-72 championship course offers rolling fairways and greens with
incredible views of the Front Range. South Suburban Golf Course. Take your
pick of play on the full 18-hole regulation course or get in a quick
round on our nine-hole par three. The relaxed atmosphere and picturesque
mountain backdrop make this a regional favorite. So no matter how you choose to
play, we have a golf course for you. Book your tee time now at ssprd.org/teetime. Hi I’m Dave Lawful, one of the newly elected members of the
South Suburban Board of Directors. I’m an avid user of our well-maintained parks
and trails and encourage everyone to come out and use them too. I’m here at
Reynolds Landing, one of my favorite spots along the trail. Take a look at
some of the other great things South Suburban has going this summer.
Hi I’m Austin Tasler, aquatics coordinator here at South Suburban. The
weather is warm and our pools are open. Take advantage of this summer by
purchasing a South Suburban splash pass to get unlimited access to our four
outdoor pools: Holly, Harlow, Franklin and Cook Creek.
I am Sabum Melissa Wallace. I am the Taekwondo instructor here at
the Sheridan Rec Center. We are offering classes for students ages 11 and up. Try
a class to build confidence, relieve stress and enhance overall physical
fitness, while learning self-defense techniques. Sarah Nielsen here at the 37th annual
High Line Canal Race. We have six races in the race series. We have an 8K. We have 5Ks. We have this 10K. We’re family friendly, so we have kids out here at
five years old running with their parents.
Our courses are flat. We get to run on the awesome High Line Canal Trail that’s
a huge draw for people too. Go to ssprd.org/raceseries to find out more information about it. Hi, I’m Kat at the Family Sports Center.
Looking to have your kids get involved in some activities this summer? Well
look no further than South Suburban’s champs camps. We’ve got a little
something for everyone from flag football to soccer, golf, and more. You can
sign up today at our website ssprd.org. Hi, I’m Pete Barrett, one of the newly
elected board members for South Suburban Parks and Recreation. Today I’m at a
South Suburban park celebrating the start of the World Cup with these boys
and girls playing soccer at a Littleton soccer USA camp. Will any of these kids
play in a World Cup? We don’t know that but we do know they’re off the couch,
they’re off their electronic devices, they’re outside in this beautiful park
getting great aerobic exercises. So why don’t you join us this summer by doing
the same thing? Come to a park have a picnic, throw a frisbee, and work on your
soccer moves for 2026 when we have the World Cup.
