Now we’re going to talk with more detail about
the ready position and what you need to be doing with your hands to change your width
for your forehand and your backhand. I’m going to show you on both sides so you can see it.
Basically, I’m going to be doing it in the center. This is what I’m basically doing;
forehand grip and backhand grip. See how my racquet is tilting. Now I’m going to be doing
it on my left side. I’m going to be doing from the center of the racquet to my forehand
grip and again from the center of the racquet to my backhand grip. I know it can seem a
little confusing but this is very important. Let me do it again from my right side. Again,
very important, you’re going to be doing this in the ready position on the center but I’m
just going to be doing it here on the right side so you can see it a little with detail.
I’m going to be moving it to my forehand. This is going to be my forehand grip. See
how I’m switching from the center to the forehand again; and now from the center to my backhand
grip and you can see it from this side. So, you can see my fingers and the positioning
of my hand and very important, you want to do this right here from the ready position.
Let me do it again. You’re going to switch to your forehand. See how my racquet is tilting
to the; to my left side and then from the ready position to my backhand. See how my
racquet is tilting to my right side.
