♪♪ inspiring music ♪♪ ♪♪ inspiring music ♪♪ »MARCIN: Hi guys, I’m Marcin Rozpedski here at Nationals.
Let me give you a quick tip. Hopefully this will make you
play better. I would like to talk about anticipation. People
are saying that, “Marcin, you are so fast on this pickleball
court. Singles, doubles and mixed doubles.” Well, it’s not just the speed.
It’s an umbrella of different things. One of the things is anticipation.
Anticipating where your opponent will hit the ball. That will definitely
make you faster on the court. Anticipate and look at the opponent’s paddle.
If it’s cross court, the paddle is going to be facing cross court. If
it’s down the line, the paddle is going to be facing that direction which
is down the line. Therefore you know where your opponent is going to be
hitting. So, remember, anticipate your opponent’s shots and,
I promise you, you are going to be much faster on
the pickleball court. ♪♪ energetic music ♪♪ ♪♪ energetic music ♪♪ ♪♪ energetic music ♪♪ ♪♪ music fades ♪♪

  1. Last week I was playing at the net. And I swung and missed the ball, but I quickly swung again and it the ball. It looked like I gave a big fake. The opponents just looked in shock as the ball went by.

  2. Always make it a habit of performing "split-steps" whenever do attacking approach at the center court…it always give you quicker reaction either going left or right…never a flat-footed stance. It is a basic fundamental footwork in tennis.
