Hi, I’m Sarah, and I’m Jessica. And we’re
going to show you how to soften and release your shoulder muscles using two every day
items: a sock, and a tennis ball.
Place the tennis ball in the sock to create a simple, yet effective, massage tool.
You will focus the pressure on the muscles between the spine and the shoulder blades.
Standing about a foot from the wall, toss the tennis ball over the opposite shoulder,
adjusting the length to pinpoint the tight muscles.
Place the other hand on the opposite shoulder and lean the weight of the body against the
tennis ball. Bend your knees slowly to direct the pressure along the muscles of the shoulder
blades. Repeat the process on the other side, taking
nice deep breaths throughout the process. Keep at it for 5 to 10 minutes or until you
feel the tension easing. Repeat regularly throughout the day to completely
revitalise your shoulders. Thanks for watching. If you found this video
