I’m incredibly sad to leave Marist. I’ve enjoyed my four years here so much and tennis has been a huge part
of that enjoyment. I’ve had an unbelievable team or through these four
years. I’m just incredibly grateful for the opportunity I’ve had here. I’ve been
able to work with so many great players from so many different countries. They’ve
inspired me. They’ve helped me out all the way. They helped me with the academics,
with the sport. Coming into a team from a very diverse group of players has not
only taught me how to deal with players from many different cultures, but also to
find ways to work together on and off the court. The younger lads are in a
great position and this year we’ve had a great season and hopefully that will
continue on for many years to come. I definitely feel like the program’s been
left in great hands with lights of Lars and Chris. They’re on the ship for next
year with only two matches left as a Marist tennis player I feel like the
time flew by. Those friendships that I’ve made and the people that I met here are
some that I will carry on for the rest of my life. To think that everything is
coming to an end very nostalgic feeling. It’s been an unbelievable experience.
I’m definitely going to miss everyone involved with the program. I really
couldn’t ask for much more and it’s definitely gonna be an emotional day
going out here to defend the den for the last time.
