One of the most important things in tennis
is the returning serve and a second serve first serve a lot of the time is all about reflexes, shortening the backswing and just doing your best to get the ball back but on a second serve you want to be able to attack but what if the balls bouncing and moving to the side that’s very hard to get around
and get some control over the top of it if you’re a double handle or a single
handle like I am sometimes it’s really tough one of the secrets is little half side steps if you do a little half sidestep you’re able to get behind the ball and get some power and control as opposed to a big lunge step like this or like this where you’re stretching out and you’re
in a weakened position you can do a little half step get behind the ball a little half step and get behind the ball it’s not the big lunge that gets you out of position it’s a mini step quick step behind the ball
and get over the top

  1. Hi Pat, it would have been nice if we saw 30 seconds or more of you doing it in real life. That lasted a whole 5 seconds. YouTube is free…. use it 😛 Thanks for the video ! Glad to see you are making videos… make 'em longer ! 🙂
