  1. Wow!!! What a great story and an eye opener for all those out there that assume that our judicial system is perfect. It is far from perfect and many, MANY innocent ppl are sitting in jails and prison right now. I love his positive attitude and his unwillingness to turn bitter as many of us would have. Now he has an opportunity to make a huge impact and turn trauma into triumph! God bless him and all his family who stood by his side for the last 27yrs. God bless everyone who worked so hard to get to the truth and believed in Valentino. Also I am thankful that the man who committed this crime came forward AGAIN and took responsibility for his wrongdoings. As awful as it was…. A murder, he still stood up and said you have the wrong man locked up for this. He could have just sat silent but his heart it sounds like wouldn't allow him to. So God bless him as well.

  2. "…Solo is guilty… Guilty until proven innocent… take him away…" Says Jabba.
"…Kavanaugh is guilty… Guilty until proven innocent… take him away…" Says Leftist Imbeciles.

  3. What's the point in telling this half story (go to the internet to read up on all the details) if you're NOT going to do something to correct the problem in the first place. TV is garbage and fluff.

  4. first of all today I hate disregarding his name and writing "prisoner " …second: Valentino your soul shines through and I have so much love for you. I hope some good will come out of all this. <3

  5. I wish you and your family all the best!!they took 37 years away from you but not your spirits!!God bless you 🙏🏾

  6. Valentino looks 27! Wow! What a talented artist. Poor man. I will pray for him at my Adoration service at my Church this evening. God bless you, Valentino!

  7. This is the main reason why white need white supremacy & white privilege to keep melaninated people down. they want to keep your self-esteem as low as possible. if you ever played The Sims game, if you build happier things people are in a happier mood, when you take all the money's out of the black community and leave it like a war zone, you're going to get negativity. People better start peeping game.

  8. This is so annoying I don’t even know where to start!!! The spin on his wonderful art… which it is…. but could have done this while FREE!!! But instead… he spent his LIFE (27 years) for NOTHING!!! he should have never been there!! Like how was he found guilty!? Never mind!! We see this ALLLLL the time!!! 🤦🏾‍♀️ how many more!? And how much money did they make off of him!? Ugh!! Disgusting leave America!!! This is not inspiring I’m TIRED of seeing this!!! And don’t talk about “oh this comment is negative” what happened to him is horrific!!!

  9. I'M GLAD TO HEAR THAT BY GOING TO PRISON HE LEARNED ABOUT GOD & THE GIFT-TALENT THAT THE LORD HAD GIVEN HIM AS A CHILD & THAT HE DIDN'T LOSE FAITH IN GOD EITHER WHILE HE WAS GOING THRU HIS TRIALS & TRIBULATIONS & THAT GOD ALSO USED THAT GIFT-TALENT TO REACH OUT TO OTHERS WHO LATER REACHED OUT TO OTHERS & HE WAS EVENTUALLY RELEASED & NOW GETS TO SHARE HIS TESTIMONY & GIFT-TALENT WITH THE 🌎!! AS THE WORD SAYS,"GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS",=1ST CORITHIANS 4:1 & THIS IS THE VERY REASON JESUS CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN TO EARTH AS SAID IN ISAIAH 61:1,"TO OPEN THE PRISON GATES & TO SET THOSE WHO ARE CAPTIVE FREE", BECAUSE EVERYONE WITHOUT GOD IS ALSO IN A "SPIRITUAL PRISON" & DON'T EVEN KNOW IT BUT NOW HE IS "FREE" FROM BOTH!!💯💯💪🆗✌😎

  10. PREACH MY BROTHA PREACH BECAUSE FOR THIS THE LORD HAS CALLED THE 🌎& AMERICA TO HEAR YOUR TESTIMONY & HOW GOD SHALL NEVER LEAVE NOR FORSAKE YOU AS LONG AS YOU HAVE FAITH IN HIM & NOT RELIGION MADE BY MAN!! HEBREWS 13:5 & HEBREWS 11:6!! ✊😎💯💪🙏✌🇺🇸🗽

  11. So many emotions came over me as I watched this piece but in the end I am happy. I am happy that he has found peace in this horrific ordeal that he had to endure and that he showed the love of God and how God worked through him to make it to the other side. I can not even fathom what I would do if I was in his position but like he said in this video, God never let him out of his sight. His story reminds me of when Joseph was in prison all those years and endured a lot only to have God make him a powerful man right under Pharaoh. His 27 years in prison also remind me of the years Nelson Mandela spent in prison and we see how he turned out; one of the most respected and loved individuals in history. How many of us could come out of this situation without being bitter, angry, hateful, spiteful, and mad? So many men of color face these unfortunate hardships and are put out to pasture to just whither and die. His happiness and the love he has for life and God is exuding so much that people in the comments below can't believe he has been in prison for that long because he looks so youthful and good. The grace of God is truly on him and he was trying to tell that to those who interviewed him but I don't think they understood what he was trying to say. Now if Kathy Lee was there, she would probably understand.

  12. A large number of crimes could have been solved due to the many inmates that committed most of those crimes. If they CJ would check all of the DNA for past and current criminals. Also, better interview techniques probably would have cleared this young man year before. God, bless the people at the Golf Magazine.

  13. Sir, I wish you a long an d very very happy life. And please try to help others like you. Oh and never stop being an artist!! Big hug from the Netherlands.

  14. You see the damage that racism does to black people. Botham Jean and Valentino are just the latest victims of this white racist society

  15. This story is compelling but he has such a beautiful spirit about what he endured most of his young adult life. He's so talented it's astonishing how his passion for artwork led to his release from prison. That's a blessing from God they say the grass in greener on the other side. You are an amazing guy Valentino wishing you much continued success!!  Lol

  16. What a strong man in mind and body. God bless him for fighting for his innocence! Shame on the everyone that put him in jail for a crime he didn't commit!

  17. This is an amazing story .I can't believe what an incredible attitude this man has after 27 years in jail for something he didn't do . Our system broke down with this gentleman, that in it self is a crime . The people who threw this man in jail should be investigated , they had there own agenda. How can they sleep at night !! It's disgusting.

  18. Why do they not explain how this happened and who is responsible for this tragedy (these people are retired; they should be locked up!).

  19. Wow every seems to be glossing over the real injustice. Yes move on for sure but 27 years of his life has been taken never to come back. He is not a headline but a life. I hope he gets a huge payout.

  20. Bruh—you are such an inspiration! Speak his name: Valentino Dixon. The system is corrupt in America. This happens all too often to African American men. How many more have been executed because of arrogant and racist judges, lawyers, accusers, etc.? How many are still behind prison doors?

This is coming soon to every group in America, regardless of ethnicity or color. Our disregard for and indifference to those different from us sets us up to suffer the same fate.

It breaks my heart to see so many brothas lose their lives to the American penal system—then come out forgiving the same monsters who imprisoned them and who if they had their way would have them thrown BACK into prison without even a pause to reconsider.

  21. Valentino No man can hold God's people. Pharaoh let my people go ! 2= significant differences and 7 = completion Lean not  your own understanding you're a mighty man of GOD, and GOD bless you my brother.

  22. Sadly there's most likely many more young black men in America in the same predicament it's disgraceful. I'm glad this one was able to get the help he needed.
    What about recompense?

  23. JESUS CHRIST DIED ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SINS AND HE WAS BURIED AND HE ROSE AGAIN ON THE THIRD DAY THE BIBLE JOHN CHAPTER 3 VERSE 16 THROUGH 21

  24. Wooooowww this is powerful. When he said that he would hug the people who put him in there, a tear just came rolling down my eye. What a MAN!!!

  25. This is a good man with most of his life gone due to incompetence.  I believe he has a good case to sue the city and that foul lawyer.

  26. There's water in my eyes &
I don't have all the words. A gross injustice that has been righted by God through the people involved in expediting his release.
What an incredible story of perseverance.. quoted "get on living or get on dieing"
Have a blessed life forward with nothing but God's favor…

  27. Probably the strongest spirit I've ever seen. Too have been stuck in Prison for 27 years and still have such fortitude. Incredible.

  28. I'm 100% behind you and I'm happy a wrong was right. But if there was a god, why did he let you sit there for 27 years. You stayed strong, don't short change yourself!

What did God do for the other wrongfully convicted men. I know you need a life line to survive in prison. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, well maybe Steve Harvey. But you and only you came out of it. Stay strong!
