I can tell you pretty much everything
about the first day that I visited Wimbledon. I think I could probably tell you
what I was wearing. It was 1981 and I was six years old. When Bjorn Borg walked on the court,
he was 5 times defending Champion and as he came round the corner
and walked onto the grass, I think I that’s when I made
my one and only career decision. So for me, every time I came to Wimbledon, the picture in my mind was back
to a 6 year old boy who was dreaming of playing
on Centre Court. And every time I think about Rolex my mind immediately goes back
to being in the stands with my mum. When I saw the clocks on Centre Court,
I saw the Rolex crown and fast forward 32 years
until I owned my Rolex which is this watch and
it means an awful lot to me. When I became part of the Rolex family
and I was first asked about this story, I said to my mother “Do you remember this?”
And she said “I remember it like yesterday.” EVERY ROLEX TELLS A STORY
